Citevant

Frequently looked up

Q1Will these backlinks get me penalized by Google?

No, Citevant focuses on contextually relevant editorial backlinks where publishers decide whether your brand belongs in their article. The service uses personalized requests for relevant mentions, not automated link insertion or bulk link packages.

Q2Does it email from my address or yours? Could it hurt my sender reputation?

Outreach comes from a branded inbox on a separate domain purchased for your business, not your main domain or everyday email address. Citevant manages the inbox to keep outreach separate from your regular email setup and protect your main domain's sender reputation.

Q3Do I have to approve everything, or is it truly hands-off?

You can let Citevant handle the day-to-day outreach automatically. Alternatively, you can keep automatic outreach off and review everything before sending. Replies and publisher conversations stay available for you to handle when needed.

Q4What kind of links do I get, and who actually does the work?

You get contextual backlinks and brand mentions in articles such as comparisons, reviews and buying guides. Citevant identifies opportunities on sites already cited by AI engines, handles research and contact discovery, writes personalized outreach, and the publisher accepts the pitch and adds your brand to the article.

Q5How does building backlinks help me get cited in ChatGPT and AI Overviews?

AI answers draw on information from across the web. Citevant finds the articles ChatGPT and other AI engines cite, then reaches out to publishers for a relevant mention of your brand. This puts the focus on sources connected to your buyers' questions rather than collecting links for their own sake.
