About Domains & Web Assets
This category covers products and businesses built around owning and trading web assets: domain names, running websites, and the tooling that sits around them. Each entry follows the site's fact-sheet format, so you can read what a product does, how it charges, which systems it connects to and what it says about security, without wading through promotional copy.
Four subcategories split the field by function. Marketplaces handle the sale of names, flipping services deal with whole sites, domain tools cover search, appraisal and monitoring, and digital assets take in everything else that can be owned and transferred. A category page lists the products and businesses in all four, with filters to narrow the set.
Listings appear newest first by default. Visitors can re-sort by community votes, and votes can never be bought. When comparing entries, check the fee structure, how transfers are handled and what the founder has stated about escrow and ownership checks.

Domains & Web Assets: questions answered
- What belongs in Domains & Web Assets?
- Products and businesses whose main job is buying, selling, valuing, managing or transferring domain names, websites and similar assets. A general website builder or hosting service usually fits better in another category, because the asset is not the thing being traded or managed.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Start with the asset. If it is a name alone, look at marketplaces or domain tools. If it is a live site with traffic or revenue, look at website flipping. Anything else that changes hands, such as templates or accounts, sits under digital assets.
- How do I get a product listed here?
- Go to /submit and paste the website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose one main category at submission, and it is included free.
- Can a listing appear in more than one category?
- Each listing has exactly one main category, included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. This suits a product that spans, for example, marketplace and tooling functions.
- What should I compare when weighing two options?
- Compare the fee model, the stated transfer and escrow process, supported payment methods, integrations with registrars or analytics, and the security details given on the profile. Where a field is blank, treat it as unconfirmed rather than assumed.
