About Ecommerce & Retail

This category covers products and businesses built around selling physical or digital goods. Each entry is written as a fact sheet: how it charges, what it connects to, what security details the founder has stated, and which specs have been checked. The aim is to let you compare like with like before you open a trial or a sales call.

Entries sit in one of four subcategories: online stores and platforms, dropshipping and suppliers, marketplaces, and retail shops. The category page lists everything from all four, with filters to narrow the set. Listings appear newest first by default, and you can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so the vote order reflects visitor opinion only.

When comparing, read the pricing model first, then integrations with payments, shipping and accounting, then the security notes. Founders write their own profiles, after an AI draft from their website, so treat each field as a stated spec and check it against the product's own documentation.

Ecommerce & Retail: questions answered

What belongs in Ecommerce & Retail?
Products and businesses whose main purpose is selling goods: tools for running an online shop, supplier and fulfilment services, marketplaces, and retail businesses. Software that only touches selling at the edges, such as general accounting, belongs in its own category, with a link from the profile if relevant.
How do I choose between the subcategories?
Pick by what the product does for its customer. Software for running your own shop goes under online stores and platforms. Sourcing and fulfilment goes under dropshipping and suppliers. Multi-seller venues go under marketplaces. Physical trading businesses go under retail shops.
How do I get a product listed here?
Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. Each listing has one main category, chosen at submission and included free. An upgrade can add more.
Can I list in more than one category?
Your main category is free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. This suits products that straddle areas, such as a store platform that also offers supplier sourcing.
How are listings ordered on this page?
Newest first by default. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes. Votes can never be bought, so a paid launch does not change a product's vote position. Filters then narrow the list further by the details shown on each profile.
