About Sustainability & Climate
This category collects software products and businesses built around environmental work: emissions accounting, energy management, resource recovery and climate risk. Each listing is a fact sheet. Look for the pricing model, the integrations it supports, its security details and the specifications the founder has confirmed.
Sustainability tools differ in what they measure and how they report it. Some ingest utility bills, others connect to accounting or logistics systems, and others produce disclosures for auditors. Read the data sources and export formats first, because they decide whether a tool fits your existing stack.
The page lists everything in the four subcategories below, with filters to narrow the set. Listings appear newest first by default, and you can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so the order is not paid placement.

Sustainability & Climate: questions answered
- What belongs in Sustainability & Climate?
- Software products and businesses whose main purpose is to measure, reduce, trade or report environmental impact. Each listing has one main category, chosen at submission. A general analytics tool that merely offers an emissions dashboard is usually better placed in its primary field.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Pick by the job the product does. Carbon tracking measures and reports emissions. Green energy covers generation, storage and usage. Circular economy covers reuse, repair and waste. Climate tech is for broader or newer approaches that fit none of those.
- How do I get my product listed here?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5, while a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- Can a product appear in more than one subcategory?
- Each listing has one main category, included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. Use the extra slots where a product truly spans two jobs, such as tracking and reporting.
- What should I compare when evaluating these tools?
- Check the data inputs, the reporting standards supported, the integrations, the export options and the security details. Then compare the pricing model: per user, per site, per tonne reported or usage based. Costs scale differently across these models.
