About Templates & Digital Products
This category lists downloadable products that a buyer uses as a starting point rather than a service they log in to. Templates, design files, written guides, presets and spreadsheets all sit here. Each entry is a fact sheet: what is in the bundle, which tools it needs, the licence it ships under and how it is sold.
Digital products differ from software in ways that matter at the point of purchase. Check the file format and the app version it targets. Check whether updates are included, whether the licence covers client work or resale, and whether the price is a single payment or a subscription. Where a founder has stated these details, they appear on the listing.
A category page shows every product in this category and its subcategories, with filters to narrow the list. Listings appear newest first by default, and visitors can sort by community votes. Votes can never be bought. Every listing has one main category, chosen at submission and included free.

Templates & Digital Products: questions answered
- What belongs in Templates & Digital Products?
- Downloadable or duplicable products that a buyer adapts and reuses: workspace templates, design kits, guides, presets and spreadsheets. If the product is a hosted application with accounts and ongoing features, it usually fits a software category better. Pick the subcategory closest to the file the buyer receives.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Go by the format of the deliverable. A workspace template goes under Notion templates, design files under UI kits and design assets, written material under E-books and guides, and formula-driven files or tool presets under Presets and spreadsheets. If a product mixes formats, choose the main one.
- What should I compare before buying a digital product?
- Compare the licence terms, the tool and version required, what is included in the bundle, and whether updates are free. Also check whether the price is one-off or recurring. Listings show these fields where the founder has supplied them, so similar products can be read side by side.
- How do I list a template or digital product here?
- Go to /submit and paste the product's website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5; a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- Can a product appear in more than one category?
- Each listing has exactly one main category, included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. This suits a product that straddles formats, such as a spreadsheet sold with a written guide.
