Why convert EML to PST instead of opening the files in Outlook?

Outlook uses PST as its mailbox format. A folder of individual EML files is not a mailbox that Outlook can load directly; files would need to be opened one at a time.

Which email programs' EML files can I convert?

EML files exported from Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, eM Client, Outlook Express, and other email clients that write EML format can be converted.

Do I need Outlook installed to convert EML to PST?

No. The conversion runs on Windows without Outlook installed. After conversion, you can open the resulting PST file in Outlook 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013 or other desktop versions.

What does the trial version limit?

The trial limits exports to 25 items per folder, allowing users to test the converter on a representative sample before purchasing a license.

Is the $39 Personal license for one computer and is it a lifetime license?

The Personal license at $39 is for one machine and includes one year of updates. Professional ($99) and Technician ($299) licenses are lifetime, but Personal is not.

ViceVersa EML to PST Converter is a Windows desktop application that converts email files between EML and PST formats. It allows users to load individual EML files or entire folders from email clients like Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, eM Client, and Outlook Express, then export them as a single Outlook PST mailbox file. The converter also works in reverse, exporting messages from PST files back to individual EML or EMLX format. Notably, Outlook does not need to be installed to perform either conversion, though the resulting PST can be opened in Outlook 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013 and other versions. The application preserves folder structure and attachments during conversion and allows users to preview and selectively exclude individual messages before exporting.
