About Analytics & Data
This category covers software that turns raw records into answers. Each entry is read as a fact sheet: how the product is priced, which sources and destinations it connects to, where data is stored and what security controls the vendor documents. Entries are grouped by the job the tool does, not by how the vendor describes itself.
The page lists the products and businesses in this category and its subcategories, with filters to narrow them. Listings appear newest first by default; visitors can sort by community votes, and votes can never be bought. Every listing sits in a single main category, chosen at submission and included free. When comparing, check the pricing unit (events, rows, seats or responses), the export options and the data residency the vendor states.

Analytics & Data: questions answered
- What belongs in Analytics & Data?
- Products whose main job is to collect, move, analyse or report on data. That includes behaviour tracking inside apps, dashboards and reporting, pipelines that load data into a warehouse, and survey tools. A general app that only offers a small stats tab belongs elsewhere.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Pick the one that matches the product's primary job. Tracking what users do in an app is product analytics. Reporting across company data is business intelligence. Moving and transforming records is pipelines and ETL. Gathering answers from people is surveys and research.
- How do I get a product listed in this category?
- Go to /submit and paste the website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5; a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest first by default, so recent additions are easy to find. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so the vote order reflects only what visitors chose to give a vote to.
- What should I compare when choosing a data tool?
- Start with the pricing unit, since events, rows, seats and responses scale very differently. Then check the listed integrations, export formats, stated data location and security documentation. Confirm each point on the vendor's own pages before you commit, as specs change.
